The British Yemeni Society wishes members and friends Eid Mubarak at the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Let us pray that Yemen’s trials may soon be brought to a peaceful end.
Responding to a request from the Ras Morbat eye clinic in Aden, the British Yemeni Society agreed to fund the installation of 5 new air conditioning units to enable the clinic to operate in more comfortable conditions over the hot and humid summer months. Although this has been paid for from existing funds, B-YS would welcome donations towards the US $4,500 that these units cost to purchase and install.
